How folks here actually choose

When neighbors recommend a church on the local pages, the same few things come up every time. Some want the energy of a bigger church with several Sunday services and full kids programs. Others want somewhere small enough that people learn your name the first week. Almost everyone mentions small groups or Bible studies as the way they really got connected.
