Tiger Spa Car Wash (coming soon)
A new Tiger Spa Car Wash is coming to the corner of 223 S. FM 548, a modern freestanding facility about 5,659 sq ft. The City of Forney approved the site plan and construction is underway in 2026.
Target opens Sunday, July 26
Target's Gateway store has its grand opening Sunday, July 26. About 148,900 sq ft, and hiring now for the summer open. The countdown is on.
Dick's Sporting Goods coming to Gateway
A roughly 60,000 sq ft Dick's Sporting Goods is coming to The Village at Gateway. The City of Forney approved the site plan in late 2025. No grand-opening date yet.

Five Below and BJ's Wholesale Club are now open at The Village at Gateway. EVO Entertainment, Burlington, Ross, and Rack Room Shoes are the other big Gateway names residents keep asking about.
