What we collect
Depending on what you use, we may collect newsletter email, form submissions, business inquiry details, correction/tip details, Resident Panel responses, Local Pro request details, and anonymous site activity.
What we do not sell
We do not sell raw resident contact lists, newsletter lists, Resident Panel contact info, or Local Pro request data.
Newsletter
If you join the newsletter, we use your email to send Hey Forney updates. You can unsubscribe through the email footer.
Local Pros
Local Pro request data is used to review and, only with clear named-recipient consent, route a request to a provider. Backup routing requires permission too.
Resident Panel
Resident Panel responses help improve Hey Forney. We may summarize themes, but we do not sell personal responses or raw contact info to sponsors.
Analytics
Hey Forney uses Google Analytics and limited first-party event tracking to understand what pages, listings, searches, and actions are useful. The first-party tracker stores a random browser identifier in local storage plus page or business context, event type, path, and limited campaign/action details. It does not send names, emails, phone numbers, or account identifiers. Proof reports should be aggregate and privacy-safe. Clearing site data in your browser resets the local identifier.
