Hey Forney is built to move quickly without pretending every signal is confirmed. These are the public rules for what we publish, what we label, and what needs human review.
Last updated July 2026. These rules apply to sources, corrections, paid placements, Local Pros, creator work, and resident data.
Source status
Confirmed items need official, first-party, or multiple reliable sources. Early signals can be shown only with cautious labels such as Watching, Verifying, Reported, or Unconfirmed.
Corrections
If something is wrong, stale, mislabeled, or missing context, tell us. Corrections and sensitive concerns are reviewed before public changes.
Sponsored content
Paid placements must be clearly labeled. Payment does not control editorial rankings, Best Of results, verification, or correction handling.
Local Pros
Local Pros starts with plumbing only. Resident contact info is not shared until the provider recipient and consent are clear.
Creator campaigns
Creators must disclose paid, gifted, comped, voucher-based, or sponsored value when required. Businesses do not receive usage rights unless documented.
Resident data
Hey Forney does not sell raw resident contact lists. Research consent, newsletter consent, and provider-routing consent are separate.
What needs human review
Political, legal, public-safety, crime, reputational, school, HOA, election, tax, bond, public-hearing, provider-verification, creator, drone, email/SMS, and resident-routing actions do not go fully automatic.
